Mental Health Advice

Do you require information, advice and guidance around the subject of mental health, but do not require therapy? If so, I can provide you with this support. I help a wide spectrum of people, from parents who need advice about their children's emotional health, through to healthcare, legal and HR professionals who need independent guidance or reports written.

Whatever your reason, I am most likely able to help and if not I can certainly point you in the direction of someone who can. Please email my PA, Doon Muir to set up a telephone or video consultation.

Individuals I Can Help

Parents often get in touch with me about their child's emotional health or behaviour, seeking guidance on where to go for help or how to manage the situation themselves. Sometimes their children are already in therapy but the parents are seeking a second opinion or further understanding of the diagnosis or therapeutic process.

I am often contacted by people who are worried about their partner/family member and want to seek advice on what might be going on and how to support them better.

I provide a telephone/video call  based service to health professionals who require guidance and support on how to effectively help and manage patients who are or are suspected of being psychologically unwell.
I have extensive experience of working with people who are physically unwell and are suffering with chronic pain conditions and can provide  private psychological assessments that outline suitability for surgical procedures i.e. bariatric surgery bariatric/spinal cord stimulator insertion/sterilisation. I also provide pre/post surgery psychotherapy.
